George Westmore born 27th june 1879 in the Ilse of White, famously know not only for his wig making and restyling of Rudolph Valentinos hair but also establishing the first Hollywood make up department in 1917. He and his wife went on to have six sons Perc, Ern, Monte, Wally, Bud and Frank. They not only followed his footstep into wig making but also make up and taking hollywood by storm.
Bud and Wally were best known for work withen the horror and fantasy and creating amazing special effect for films, such as frankinstine ,The creature from the black lagoon and 1932 Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. 

Monte eventually became Rudolph Valentino sole make up artist as before that Valentino done it himself. Perc worked for the National Warner Bros, creating looks for such films as Huntch back of Notre Dame and the famous eye browless and white faceed look for Bette Davis in the Privet lives of Elizabeth and Essex.
